New generation laser, the Smartlipo MPX zaps fat and tightens skin.
Great for bat wings, belly sculpting and chin chiseling.
What’s so great about this new laser?
Dual energy wavelengths are used which offer a combination of results:
Each of these wavelengths brings unique characteristics to the laser lipolysis procedure. One is better suited for liquefying and coagulating and the other is more aggressive and suited for targeted tightening.
What is the benefit of “blending” the two wavelengths?
This blending of wavelengths is actually called Multiplexing (MPX). Multiplexing or blending wavelengths gives you the ability to maximize safety, effectiveness and overall patient outcomes and satisfaction. It allows the physician the option to blend these wavelengths to achieve optimal results.
Am I a good candidate for laserlipolysis?
Ideal candidates are in good health, close too normal body weight and have realistic expectations for the results. If you have areas of fat that will not respond to diet and exercise; unhappy with the shape of your body and in good health then you’re a candidate for laser assisted lipolysis.
Are the results permanent?
YES…In general, all liposuction methods produce permanent results. The fat cells that are removed by liposuction do not grow back. Of course after liposuction, the clock keeps ticking…no procedure can stop the aging process. Advancing age and an unhealthy diet/weight gain will produce the usual changes in the shape of the body, but the benefits of this procedure will always be apparent.
How many treatments are required?
For most patients, typically only one treatment is required. The session may last from 45 minutes to one hour for each area treated it is also an ideal choice for “touch ups” and revisions.
How much downtime will I have?
Immediately after your procedure you will walk out and be able to perform mild activities. Most patients are able to return to normal desk type work in 1 to 2 days and some patients are able to return to work the same day, depending on the area treated.
How much bruising or swelling will I have?
Using Smartlipo causes less tissue trauma and less inflammation, bruising and swelling are also minimized. SmartLipo uses only small punctures and does not use stitches, so patients experience less bruising and swelling than with the traditional liposuction techniques.
